Quality Control

If you are a high volume producer, minutes count. Finding that you have produced dirty fuel an hour late can leave you with thousands of gallons of problem fuel. Online sensors can help you catch the problem before your customer does. While particle and moisture sensors will not tell you if your centane number is correct or if your flash point is acceptable, they will tell you how much particulate moisture is in your biofuel. As the fuel passes the sensor, it can display a problem with a filter upstream and if the dry washing chemical (or any other particulate that could clog a fuel filter) is not being removed to standard.

FFA Test Strips

Ensuring adequate quality base feed stock is the key to successful biodiesel production. To determine the percentage of FFA’s in your feedstock, simply dip the test strip into your oil and submerge for 2 seconds. Remove the strip and count the number of bands without any blue color.

Ph Testing Strips

Immediate pH testing is available in brilliant, long lasting colors. These direct-reading pH papers give a simple, single color match for all pH values in distinct, bright color separations. 100 dip sticks are packaged in a clear plastic case with a color chart.

The SMART Kit Contamination monitor makes it easy to continuously monitor ISO levels in real time, showing you exactly how dirty your fuel is. TestMate™ Water Sensor for Biodiesel (TWS)

The TWS-C is a water and temperature sensor for the continuous monitoring of hydraulic and lubrication fluids - accurately, continuously and on line. It measures the water content relative to the saturation concentration (saturation point) and outputs the degree of saturation (saturation level) in the range of 0 to100% as a 4-20 mA signal.
